January 4th was the official payment date of the Economic Impact Payments as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.


Stimulus paymentDepending on how you received your first payment, you should receive the second payment through the same method. Direct deposits will appear in your account quicker than receiving paper checks through the United States Postal Service.
