To open a ministry savings account, you’ll need your organization’s EIN (Employer Identification Number), articles of incorporation or bylaws, and a board resolution authorizing the account and listing authorized signers.
Is my church savings account insured?
Yes. AGCU is federally insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), which protects deposits up to $250,000. For larger balances, our Extended Insurance Account offers coverage up to $15 million.
Can multiple staff members access our ministry savings account?
Yes. You can designate multiple authorized signers on your account, such as your church treasurer, pastor, or finance committee members.
