Be a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Hero
CoxHealth is proud to present our 31st annual Medical Mile and 5K Run/Walk. This event brings 600+ virtual participants each year and 100% of the proceeds support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the local families they serve.
This unique race continues to be a tremendous opportunity for our community to help children and families in need. The Medical Mile race is a continually growing event put on each year by CoxHealth Fitness Centers in Springfield.
Enjoy supporting this event by running, walking, skipping or hopping at your own pace. Complete your choice of distance on June 1-19th. This event is not only a great way to show your support to the children and families in need, but is also an opportunity to benefit physically and mentally.
Registration begins April 13th, 2022
Event dates: Complete your chosen distance June 1st through June 19th.
Entry Fee: Fee of only $30 gives all ages an opportunity to complete the mile or 5K distance. Participants choose their distance during the sign-up process.
To secure your 31st annual MedMile t-shirt and premium hydration bottle, register before the June 6th deadline. Registration will still be available after June 6th, but the t-shirt and hydration bottle may not be available. Registration for the event ends June 19th.
CoxHealth employees can opt to have their entry fee payroll deducted on active.com. Make sure to have your employee number ready.
Medical Mile and 5K participants can come by the CoxHealth Fitness Center located at The Meyer Center and use the indoor track or treadmills. Simply bring in your registration to get a free, onetime entry for the day. This opportunity is available on June 1-19th.
We had over 20 teams of friends, family and co-workers come together in 2021 to support the cause. Come together as a department, family or Springfield business hero. The team with the most participants will receive a trophy to show off at their office. Team captains with at least 10 team members receive a FREE one-month CoxHealth Fitness Center membership.
We will deliver race packets to the team captains location of choice. If you are interested in forming a team, captains must register the team and all members must request to join. Did we mention all team members receive extra swag in their event swag bag?

Teams are not required to complete the distance together. However, we encourage teams to work together and help one another complete the distance. Send us a picture of your team for a chance to win a special giveaway from CoxHealth Fitness Center.
Complete your distance anytime between June 1st and June 19th. Once completed, submit your time at the submission link above. These times will be self-reported, from your own timing device or app. We will post placings on OzarkRacingSystems.com. Times must be submitted no later than June 19th.
Awards for the 1st and 2nd place winners in each age group will receive a prize at packet pickup.
Team packets will be available for delivery the week of June 20th. We will provide more information to team captains at the beginning of June.
Individual Packet Pick-Up
Friday, June 24th, 3pm-6pm at The Meyer Center: Conference Room B
Saturday, June 25th, 9am-11am at The Meyer Center: Conference Room B
If you are unable to make these pick-up times, shirts and water bottles will be available at The Meyer Fitness Center until July 8th.
Mailing of packets is not available.
